The file must be saved to your home directory, or a sub-directory in your home directory.
To save an e-mail message in PINE, press the letter s key when in the message and follow the directions given at the bottom of the screen. This will save the file, usually in the sub-directory 'mail', and it can then be downloaded. You will have to assign a name to the file, for example purposes we have selected a file name "example.txt" to use.
Once the file is saved, you can then download it using the LYNX: Upload/Download Utility
To access the Upload/DownLoad utility, follow the links:
Main Menu
About Your Account/Manage Your Files
Home Directory/ Upload Download
In the space provided, press enter. All your files will be listed.
Select one and press enter.
Before selecting the Download Link, select either Kermit or Zmodem protocols for downloading. You will see these options on the second page. The options with the (*) beside them are the options current active. To change them, tab down to the option and press enter to toggle the setting.
