Women FORE Wishes Golf Tournament
 

A hundred Calgary businesswomen golfed up a storm on the first of September and through a raffle and silent and live auction raised over $13,000.00 to complete the following wishes:

©     Six year old girl diagnosed with Spina Bifida would like to go to Disneyworld with her mom and 12 year-old cousin who now lives with them because her mom passed away less than a year ago

©     A 5 ½ year old girl diagnosed with a seizure disorder, wishes for a Great Pyrenees dog, as her dog had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago due to cancer

©     Five year old girl with Joubert Syndrome wants a computer and furniture

©     A 12 year old girl diagnosed with Holoprosencephaly and her family would like to go the Kids Village in Disneyworld

The tournament is scheduled for September 7, 2006 at The Calgary Elks Lodge and Golf Club.

A very successful and popular tournament for The Rainbow Society. This is a ladies only tournament to be held this year at the beautiful Calgary Elks golf course in Calgary on September 7, 2006. Another unique feature is that it is a combined Texas Scramble and play your own ball format.

This year we hope to raise $15,000.

Entry fee is $680 per foresome or $200 per person until August 4, 2006 or $800 per foresome and $250 per person after August 8, 2006. This includes 18 holes of golf, power cart, fantastic dinner, tee gift bag (including a wind suit valued at over $60 complimnets of Marks Work Wearhouse and many other great items) and fabulous prizes. Lunch is at 11:30am and the shotgun start is at 12:30pm.
